Do you throw, hoping to hit what you aim at.You will find in the course something to help you to fine tune your consistency and accuracy . No more guesswork on your throw . Know the guidelines to always be on target with your dart . The first sessions of the training are to find out if you need to add or take away any movements in your throwing action , this is to develop your style and technique in your darts . The first thing to find out is - which is your dominant eye so that you can determine your ' aim line '. Hold a dart up to your face as if you are going to throw at the board , hold it steady and then close your left eye . If the dart in your hand seems to jump to the left then you are left eye dominant , this is the case with - Phil Taylor , John Part and the celebrated TV commentator , Bobby George . If your dart stays where it is in front of your eye , then you are right eye dominant . This info' will give you your eye to target line to use as a guide for your throw . Next , stand in front of your mirror , turn sideways on and bring your dart up to your face as if you are going to throw the dart , keep it there and then turn back to the mirror with the dart still up to your face in the throw position , if it's in line with your dominant eye you will then have a straight throw at the target . This is the first base in the training to give you an accurate throw to the board . Normally when you throw you will keep both eyes open but you will find it is your dominant eye that you aim with . From this we go to the stance , then to the grip and then onto using tools such as a mirror to accurately develop your physical actions . You will find if you are a professional or a County player you may not need so many alterations in your physical actions although many who have taken the training have incorporated a few small changes and have increased their accuracy , at the top levels small alterations are sometimes all that you need to win . The bottom line is . Do you want to be the winner . If your thought is yes -- give yourself the chance to lift your game with this course and then you will have the background and knowledge to use to help you together with your own guts and determination to reach the top . When you have developed and fixed your throwing action over the first twenty one days you will see yourself improving to a point where you can measure yourself against the criteria set out in the course before you move on to incorporate the Mental - Subconscious - Training into your schedule . This second twenty one day section will build up your skills massively . This mental imagery is one of the most important factors in creating your winning attitudes and enables you to excell in competition with the best . Here's just a couple or three examples where this was used to train to over and above the normal by mind training alone. Coach , Athlete and Sport Psychologist , cites the example of Robert Foster , a champion rifle shot , who because of military duties was unable to train for a whole year. During this time his only practice was a daily ten minute session of mental rehearsal and visualisation . At the end of the year he entered a competition and broke his own world record . Jean-Claud Killy , Three times gold winning skier , was unable to practice for one event because of injury . The only practice he got was to ski the course in his imagination , In his opinion that event gave him one of his best ever performances . Arnold Schwarzenegger , one of the worlds finest bodybuilders in his day would first visualize the effect that he wanted in that muscle from a series of exercises and maintained that mental image as he carried out his routines . Jack Nicklaus explains how he mentally views a film like sequence showing the entirety of his action , from his initial swing to the ball lying exactly where he wants it . The perfect shot . These are just a few examples but you can see where it leads when you add training your mind to reinforce your sporting improvement . In the second part of the course you start slowly building the techniques from scratch and if you have never used these methods before , as you progress you will find it becomes easier . You will unconsciously be building up your skill levels and this in turn will turbo-charge your game .
